My mommy and daddy's whole world changed at 4: 37pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Mommy had been admitted the day before to have me evicted but the medicine the doctor gave her was not enough to pursuade me to come out. So, 24 hours later, mommy asked the doctor to perform a c-section and before we all knew it I was born! I only cried when the doctor first brought me out- probably because I was cold. I hate being cold! After they cleaned me and weighed me - I was 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 in. long - they took Daddy and me to the nursery to further check me out. Daddy was surprised I didn't cry when they gave my first shot. I'm already showing him I'm going to be one tough cookie. I then got to quickly meet grandma, grandpa and Auntie Jessica. Grandpa was crying- mommy says he does that a lot. Soon after, the nurse took me back to my mommy so I could eat. Boy, was I hungry! It was great to be alone with my mommy for a few minutes. I had finally got to put a face with the voice I'd been hearing for the past 40 weeks. It was so exciting! I wonder if mommy felt the same way about me? I'll have to ask her one day.
That evening, and over the next few days, we had a lot of visitors. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great-grandparents came to see me. I have so many great people in my life! I'm glad I'm finally here. Now the real fun can begin!
